We are looking for a skilled welder on behalf of a manufacturing company who produce a variety of products for commercial and industrial applications in Colchester. You will ideally have thin guage MIG welding experience to be considered.
You will be working on an early shift of 06:00-14:30 Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Fridays. Starting salary will be circa 14ph but will be dependent on experience.
The company offer 24 days holiday + bank holidays once permanent as well as increased overtime rates at the weekend and early friday finishes.
Duties include:
- MIG welding up to 3mm thick
- Fabricating using machinery and tools
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Carrying out other duties such as assembly when required
