This role is supporting a consultancy who are undertaking the civil design of substations elements on behalf of Network Rail.

They need a resident engineer to be based on the project to undertake assurance of the build compared to design.
Â
This role would suit someone who has worked as a resident engineer, project engineer, Clerk of Works or employers agent previously.

Experience of substations from a civil aspect would be ideal but would consider anyone with a civil or structural design background.

Previous Network Rail experience would be advantageous.

This is a site based role in Coldstream and the role has been deemed outside IR35.
