Senior RMN Nurse

Location: Swinton, Manchester (M27)

Salary: £39,091 per annum + £3,000 welcome bonus

Hours: Days - 37-hour contract or 30-hour contract

Time Recruitment is partnering with a national charitable organisation to find a dedicated Senior RMN Nurse for their exceptional community setting in Swinton, Salford. This well-established company, with over 60 years of experience, provides support for substance misuse, learning disabilities, and mental health & wellbeing.

With more than 300 locations, this unique service is a small, 10-bed independent hospital offering rehabilitation packages to both informal and detained patients under the MHA. The facility caters to mixed-gender patients with severe and enduring mental health needs, including dual diagnoses.

Responsibilities: As a Senior RMN Nurse in this not-for-profit organisation, you will work alongside a robust MDT team of OTs, support staff, and art therapists. Your key responsibilities will include:

Playing a major role in MDT meetings and liaising with CMHT, leading on evidence-based frameworks and treatments

Adhering to NICE guidelines

Developing care packages and risk management plans, alongside discharge planning

Ensuring a recovery-focused pathway is embedded in service users' routines

Overseeing clinical governance and quality assurance

Supervising, guiding, and mentoring staff

Conducting clinical audits and managing health and safety

Participating in MDT reviews and 1:1 service user involvement

Deputising for the clinical lead and handling occasional on-call duties

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for the Senior RMN Nurse position will be:

An RMN qualified nurse, registered with the NMC

Knowledgeable about the Mental Health Act

Excellent in communication, time management, and organisational skills

Experienced in clinical supervisions and appraisals (both giving and receiving)

Proficient in IT skills
