Autism Support Assistant – Swinton
Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support assistant to work with children aged between 3-19 year old on a full-time term time only basis.
Your role would be based in a Special School in the Swinton area that caters specifically for children with Autism and Communication issues. This is a Monday – Friday role and would require you to work 08.30 – 15.30. We are not currently accepting applications for part time.

Autism Support Assistant role & responsibilities:• Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons• Helping the pupils regulate• Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive• Assist with personal care
Autism Support Assistant Non-negotiables:• Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity• Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 – 15:30• Comfortable providing personal care• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
