CNC Machinist

Coleford - Double Days - Permanent

A leading manufacturer with global outreach are looking to welcome an experienced machinist to their expanding team as they take on board new projects.

The role:

  • Set and operate a variety of modern and conventional machinery.
  • Manufacture components, working to drawings and specifications.
  • Self-inspect components
  • Report any manufacturing errors to line manager so corrective action can be agreed
  • Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule
  • Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop.
  • Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
  • Positive attitude, good time keeping and a willingness to be flexible.

The Person:

  • Motivated, highly organised, experienced CNC machinist with a good understanding of machining principles.
  • Understand and utilise Control systems.
  • Experience setting up and run various machine s including CNC and Manual.
  • Read and understand technical drawings.
  • Experience with Milling and turning techniques
