A leading manufacturer with global outreach are looking to welcome an experienced machinist to their expanding team as they take on board new projects.
The role:
- Set and operate a variety of modern and conventional machinery.
- Manufacture components, working to drawings and specifications.
- Self-inspect components
- Report any manufacturing errors to line manager so corrective action can be agreed
- Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule
- Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop.
- Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
- Positive attitude, good time keeping and a willingness to be flexible.
The Person:
- Motivated, highly organised, experienced CNC machinist with a good understanding of machining principles.
- Understand and utilise Control systems.
- Experience setting up and run various machine s including CNC and Manual.
- Read and understand technical drawings.
- Experience with Milling and turning techniques
