Are you a CNC Turner able to edit programmes looking to join a large, well know manufacturer who will invest into your career, offering ongoing training on programming and milling, along with funded qualifications?

In this double days, Monday to Friday role you will be primarily turning on a variety of lathes and using Fanus controls in a large workshop of 20 people. You will be producing medium to large parts in small batches, meaning there is plenty of variety in the day to day.

Through shadowing experienced engineers you will be given full training on how to programme and how to use milling machines, plus this company can even fund qualifications such as NVQ, HNC, or HND if necessary.

This manufacturing company are leaders in their specialist sector, with hundreds of employees worldwide and a turnover of £80 million. They pride themselves on their extremely low turnover of staff due to internal promotions, making this a great opportunity to propel your long-term career.

This role would suit a CNC Turner looking to broaden their skill set, in a varied role for a national company who will ensure tailored development plans with plenty of scope to progress.

The Role:

  • Setting and operating lathes, then programming once fully trained
  • Full training on milling machines and other workshop machinery
  • Machining a variety of medium to large parts every day in small batches
  • Working in a large workshop of 20 people
  • Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating weekly, then 7am - 3pm on Fridays
  • Overtime available every weekend paid at 2x
