REED HR are delighted to be working with our client on the recruitment of a proactive and career-focused HR Officer to join their dynamic team.

This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive HR Generalist support across various functions including Operations, Sales, and Head Office functions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to handle HR-related tasks effectively, and a flexible approach to work.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Drive the HR strategy across the group, playing a key role in its implementation
  • Manage and support investigation, disciplinary, and grievance casework
  • Deliver corporate induction and HR training
  • Provide end-to-end recruitment support
  • Offer advice and guidance on all HR-related matters in line with employment legislation and best practices
  • Maintain and update HR records accurately
  • Generate HR data analysis and reporting
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions
  • Support absence and performance management initiatives
  • Lead and drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Process weekly payroll ensuring accuracy in data

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPD Qualified or working towards CIPD qualification
  • At least 1 year of experience in an HR Officer/Generalist role
  • Strong experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Knowledge and experience in conducting disciplinary and grievance meetings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience with Sage and PAMS HR systems
  • Knowledge of employment law in NI, Scotland, and ROI
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
