Brook Street (UK) Ltd is thrilled to announce an opening for a Clerical Officer Grade II with Typing Duties within the Belfast Trust, located in Coleraine. This role offers a competitive pay rate of 11.44 per hour and is designed for individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic team.

Position Details:

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Duration: Initial contract of 6 months - ongoing

Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:

Option A:

  • RSA Stage II Word Processing or RSA Stage II Typing, along with relevant word processing/computer experience or qualification.
  • Plus either:
    • 4 GCSEs (Grade A-C), or
    • 1 year of clerical experience.

Option B:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in an office environment, specifically performing typing and word processing duties.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective teamwork capabilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in typing.
  • A solid understanding of the English language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephones and providing exceptional telephonist support.
  • Performing general clerical duties and offering comprehensive clerical assistance.
  • Photocopying and preparing documentation for distribution.
  • Assisting in the production of statistical information.
  • Typing reports, memos, letters, forms, etc., from manuscript as needed.
