Job Description

Multi trades recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a busy and welcoming pub for an experienced Front of House Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and authoritative leader with a strong background in hospitality to step into a key role, guiding the Front of House team in providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately, bringing both leadership skills and hands-on experience to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and Closing Duties: Responsible for opening and closing the pub, ensuring security protocols are followed and the space is prepared for daily operations.
  • Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and support the Front of House team to maintain high service standards, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Customer Relations: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any queries or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Order Coordination: Oversee and coordinate orders, food and beverage service, and maintain cleanliness of all service areas.
  • Stock Management: Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and ensure the bar is fully stocked at all times.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are adhered to.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role in a pub or similar hospitality setting is essential.
  • Leadership: Confident in managing and motivating a team with authority and professionalism.
  • Availability: Flexible availability to work 30 - 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Reliability: Trustworthy and dependable, capable of handling opening and closing procedures responsibly.
