Assistant Accountant
I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant with a highly successful business, who are continuing to invest into their future as they continue to grow.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a key role within their Accounts Department.
Package includes - Salary circa £27,000, flexible working patterns, company pension and other great benefits.
Roles responsibilities
- To assist in the production of the monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
- To complete weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all balances are known and are correct
- Reconciliation Of Sales DOC daily
- Updating daily estimates v actuals
- Posting and allocating bonus debts
- Optimising the systems we have in place, making sure are we are using them efficiently
- Supervising the Purchase ledger and ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner
- Supervising the sales ledger and ensuring all debts are collected
- To communicate effectively with department managers and assist them with any financial matters required
- Daily Cashflow Forecast
- Cover Weekly Forecast in the absence off the Financial Controller
What we need from you?
- Experienced gained in a similar level Assistant Accountant / Senior Finance Assistant role
- AAT part qualified (Final Level) or qualified
- An excellent team player
- A keen eye for detail
- Confident in the use of Excel and in your ability to learn new systems
