Role: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Colne, near Burnley

Salary: £25,000-£26,00pa + bonus

I am recruiting for a well-established organisation in Colne who are seeking a permanent Customer Service Advisor to join their team ASAP.

Key responsibilities

  • Making outbound calls to existing business customers, providing excellent customer service and spotting opportunities
  • Generating leads for the sales team - the main duty of your role will be to do a service review with existing customers, and look for opportunities for upsell - this will then be passed to the sales team to close the deal
  • Developing excellent working relationships with the business customers
  • Liaising with customers via a number of communication channels, providing prompt correspondence
  • Discussing the company products in a knowledgeable and professional manner
  • Keeping the company database up to date and accurate
  • Working within a target driven environment
  • Always providing exemplary customer service

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Previous experience working within a call or contact centre environment
  • Ideally some experience working in sales or a target driven environment - this role will be targetted
  • A motivated self-starter, who wants to pick up the phone and is ambitious and keen to make sales
  • Positive and professional demeanour
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
