We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer to join a market leading company in their respective field. Reporting directly to the maintenance manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
- Managing projects alongside senior management
- Develop ideas and new designs
- Design of assemblies and components in inventor, drawings
- Layout on Auto CAD
- Costing of parts using manufacturing software
- Liaise with production and assist on manufacturing issues
- Create and design documentation such as datasheets and instructions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minumin 1 year in design engineering
- Relevant Engineering Qualifications
- Work with AutoCAD and Autodesk
- Advance user of 2D & 3D CAD
