Your new companyThis school is a generic special school situated in East Lancashire. This school has special educational needs, including moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, hearing impairment, visual impairment and multi-sensory impairment. This school has the benefit of a large premises as well as a wide range of play facilities. They have 132 pupils on roll and the needs of their pupils are met by their fantastic team of specialist staff. Your new roleThis role is for a year 6 Teacher to cover a class that are operating primarily at a year 2/3 level. The class has 12 pupils in it, and you'd have the benefit of 5 Teaching Assistants to assist you. This role is full time, Monday to Friday, operating from 08:30 - 15:45 with an immediate start on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a long term teaching role that will continue to operate up until the end of the academic year as an absolute minimum. There is the very real possibility that this role will be extended beyond that or perhaps made permanent. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in this Teaching position you must hold Qualified Teaching status in the UK. You must be willing to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact with these year 6 children. ECTs/NQTs are welcome to apply for this role.
