OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB: To carry out the role and responsibilities of a workplace Assessor / Internal Quality Assurer. The role of an Assessor is to observe learners in their workplace, provide support and guidance by collecting evidence, assessing their abilities against the qualification learning outcomes and assessment criteria with a view to enabling them to gain their desired qualifications. Internal Quality Assurance role is to make informed judgments regarding the practice of and decisions made by an Assessor to maintain standards, quality assurance of qualifications and supporting individual’s professional development as an Assessor.
