Your new firmAn established Accountancy firm based in North Wales is seeking to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their team. This firm specialises in a wide range of accountancy and business services and supports a variety of clients from sole traders to SME businesses, mostly in the farming and leisure industries with turnovers ranging from £30k - £1 million. This role is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong experience, seeking to take on a new role and develop their career in a thriving accountancy firm.Your new roleAs Account Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for account preparation for a range of clients. You will be required to complete VAT returns, and you will also take part in audits. You will work as part of an effective team to complete personal tax returns, and you will work with multiple software's such as Sage and QuickBooks. You will also assist with the allocation and review work of the junior trainees. What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients and strong IT skills with experience in accounts software. This candidate will need to be AAT or part ACA qualified. If you have strong communication and interpersonal skills, this is an excellent opportunity. You will also need a strong ability to work to tight deadlines and manage your time effectively. What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £27,000 and £29,000 dependent on experience. As well as a competitive firm wide benefits package including holidays, pension contributions, and study support. This firm has a 35-hour working week with a 4.30pm finish every day.
