We are currently recruiting for a Fleet Workshop Assistant to join a busy local authority team in Colwyn Bay. This is a great opportunity for someone with practical experience and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and workshop procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Senior Transport Officer and Workshop Chargehands with general workshop and maintenance duties

Assist drivers in checking and maintaining vehicles to ensure roadworthiness

Maintain workshop equipment such as ladders, compressors, gas bottles, air equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring proper use and storage

Wash down vehicles prior to inspection or servicing, and keep the wash bay clean after use
Essential Requirements:

Full EU Driving Licence (Category C)

Valid Driver CPC Card

Experience of manual work and safe manual handling procedures
