Job Specification

Position: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Tamworth

Hours: 6 am - 2 pm / 2 pm -10 pm rotating shifts

Salary: 44,000p/a NEG DOE

Our client is a global plastics manufacturer, which is looking to expand their Engineering team and is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Duties will include:

Planned and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines, IML robots, pick and place robots, as well as daily maintenance on conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatic, sensors, relays, and inverters.

Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.

Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management.

Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
Preventative and Reactive maintenance.

Routine servicing.
Attend breakdowns, identify faults and problem-solve at the press with minimal downtime to aid production.
Complete work within required timescales.
Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.


Qualifications & Experience

Ideally 3/5Yrs previous experience repairing and maintaining injection moulding machinery.
Apprentice trained up to NVQ L3, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or similar.
17th/18th Edition Electrical Regulations
MEWP and forklift licenses are desirable but training can be provided.
