Contek Recruitment are currently working with a well-established engineeringcompany based inOldham. Due to company growth, they are now looking for a CNC Millerto join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Our client has been operating for over 30years, and serve a couple of specialist industries.
Working Hours:Monday to Thursday (07:45am until 17:00pm) and Friday (07:30am until 14:00pm) - Consistent overtime is available and paid at time-and-a-third.
Pay:16-20 per hour, dependent on experience. Our client would consider candidates with either programming or setting experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working on Haas CNC milling machinery to machine parts and components for tooling, such as presses.
- Reading and understanding technical engineering drawings.
- Programming using Haas controls at the machine (making adjustments and editing if the candidate has no full programming expeirence).
- Machining bespoke and one-off parts.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy, in line with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within CNC milling is required.
- Previous experience working on Haas machinery is preferred.
- Able to read and understand a range of technical engineering drawings.
