Graduate Town Planner - Congleton

Are you a recent graduate in Town Planning or a related field looking for an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career? We are currently working with a dynamic and forward-thinking property development company in Congleton that is seeking a motivated Graduate Town Planner to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications and supporting documents
  • Conduct site assessments and planning appraisals
  • Work on a range of projects, including residential and commercial developments
  • Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to gather planning information
  • Research and analyse relevant policies, regulations, and planning frameworks
  • Support senior planners in the preparation and submission of planning appeals
  • Help with the preparation of development proposals and master planning

Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning, Geography, or a related field
  • A passion for town planning and development
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work well both independently and within a team
  • Good understanding of planning legislation and regulations
  • A full UK driving license (preferred but not essential)
