Pay: 88.92 - 100.53 per day (dependent on payroll choice)

This independent special school in Congleton, Cheshire, supports pupils aged 8-18 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Learning Mentor to join our team and support students in overcoming barriers to learning. As a Learning Mentor, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to help students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Build trusting relationships with pupils to help them manage challenges and boost their confidence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver individualised support plans.
- Assist students in achieving qualifications (SATs/GCSEs) and engaging in vocational studies such as beauty, catering, and life skills.
- Encourage positive behaviour and create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
About You
You are an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is committed to helping young people succeed. You should:
- Have experience working with children or young people, especially those with SEND or barriers to learning.
- Be patient, empathetic, and resilient when faced with challenges.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be adaptable and creative in meeting the individual needs of students.
