Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Showroom Manager who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours - 7 - 4.30 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise customer interactions to support the achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products, offering specific product advice.

  • Manage the team to deliver an excellent customer experience and work towards Showroom sales and profit targets.

  • Build strong, effective relationships with customers and suppliers, managing feedback accordingly and realising the full potential of all customer interactions.

  • Place customer orders with suppliers and advise customers of anticipated delivery dates, scheduling delivery dates to meet customer needs and arranging appropriate transport.

  • Advise customers of trading terms and conditions relating to customer accounts as required.

  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion, continuously aiming to improve customer experience, and supporting all Company initiatives.

  • Visit customers on site to ensure all measurements are accurate, and that everything they need is covered.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a Kitchen/Bathroom Showroom, including experience with kitchen/bathroom design, will be essential for this role.

  • Experience of generating sales within a dedicated retail showroom or other relevant sales environment.

  • Knowledge of CAD design and design software would be beneficial.

  • Excellent customer service skills with proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude.

  • Relevant market and product knowledge.

  • A valid driving licence.
