RPS are exclusively partnering with a global aerospace manufacturer who are looking for a Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager to join them on their Cheshire site.

Responsibilities;

You will manage the procurement and planning team, ensuring standard processes are rolled out and be the senior escalation point for the team.

Sourcing strategy and procurement projects across the business, work transfer, NPI and new work bid activity.

OTIF deliveries into business and supplier management.

Execution of the monthly Operations Supply Planning activities, the weekly MPS activities and the daily execution through Shop Floor Scheduling.

Facilitate decision making process in order to balance demand and supply with a consensus plan integrated to site financial and operation plans.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Essential:

• Previous experience in supply chain management at a senior level in an Aerospace environment
• Experience in implementing industry best practices
• Negotiation and contract negotiation
• Management skills at a senior level
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Experience in forecasting & demand planning, MPS/MRP, strategic planning, inventory management

Desirable:

• Warehousing
• Budget Mgt. and Finance acumen
• Lean Mind-set & Business Excellence
• End-to-End Supply Chain Mgt.
