Tax Apprentice £15k - £18k Congleton4 days (1 day provided for study/college)Fully funded and supported scheme 9am – 5:30am My client is a reputable and growing practice committed to delivering exceptional financial services to a wide range of clients. They are known for their professional development opportunities, client-centric approach, and supportive work environment. As part of their expansion, they are looking for a Tax Apprentice to join their team.  Role: As the Tax Apprentice, you will be enthusiastic and detail-oriented, and will provide support to the existing tax department.  This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career, looking to gain hands-on experience in tax while studying towards your AAT qualification, of which will be fully funded.  You will receive comprehensive training and support, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career in tax.  As the Tax Apprentice, you will be expected:   
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Support the tax team with research and analysis of tax issues.
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and files.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other tax compliance documents.
  • Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.
  Requirements:As the Tax Apprentice, you will either be currently studying or planning to study AAT or a similar tax qualification, following the completion of your A Levels.  You will also present:  
  • Strong analytical and numerical/maths skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • A keen interest in developing a career in tax.
