Technical Sales Engineer

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a well-established engineeringcompany based inOldham. Due to company growth, they are now looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineerto join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working Hours:Monday to Thursday (07:45am until 17:00pm) and Friday (07:30am until 14:00pm)

Pay:40k-45kper year, dependent on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Winning new business, providing and selling the specialist manufacturing and fabrication services of the business to prospective customers in a range of different markets.
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
• Gathering market and customer information.
• Provide and sell company services, pricing, special offers and promotions and be able to negotiate them.
• Develop excellent customer relationships through the provision of an outstanding quality service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a sales-basedposition is essential.
• Demonstrated ability within bringing on new business is required.
• Previous experience within sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication is desirable.
• Excellent standards of both written and verbal communication.
