A number of schools that we work with in the Consett area are looking for friendly, professional and dedicated Teaching Assistants for ongoing supply work. These schools have a great reputation and are supportive and friendly places to work.
There is a high demand for supply cover across these Consett schools with additional roles becoming available on a daily basis. Roles can vary from day to day supply, short term, medium term and long term supply.
We aim to provide all our candidates with work that is suited to them where possible with careful considerations over location, age groups and school settings. It would be advantageous if the candidate has knowledge of supporting the teaching of phonics using schemes such as Read Write Inc, Sounds Write, Jollyphonics, Little Wandle or Letters and Sounds.
The successful Teaching Assistant candidate will :
- Have good classroom management skills,
- Have a passion for supporting the learning of pupils
- Work effectively with mixed ability groups of children.
We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
In addition, you must:
•Provide two referees we can contact
•Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one.
