Job Description:
- Program and operate CMM machines to measure aerospace components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize PC DMIS software to create and modify measurement programs.
- Interpret and analyze measurement data to ensure components meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any quality issues.
- Maintain CMM equipment and perform routine calibration and maintenance tasks.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a CMM Programmer/Operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency with PC DMIS software for programming CMM machines.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
