Conwy Council is in need of an experienced Social Worker to work alongside the Safeguarding & Legal team in our Children, Families and Safeguarding Service. Court work is essential to this role. Hourly rate is £37.90 - hybrid working The suitable candidate will be expected to deliver a high quality social work service to Children and their families who are deemed to have unmet needs and/or considered to be at risk of harm/significant harm. Social Workers are expected to provide support and to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that children and their families are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes that they want to achieve without compromising the child's safety. Skills and qualifications required: * Social Work Qualified, minimum 3 years post qualified plus technology & software skills * registered with Social Care Wales. If not already registered, they will need to register in order to work in Conwy County Borough Council. * Team work & interpersonal skills The assignment is for 37HPW, Monday - Friday and will be located in Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay.
