Contracts Manager

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee and manage data centre contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for risk management, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance, developing strategies, and managing commercial and operational aspects of the project.

The role will initially focus on a Data Centre project in Dublin and then will focus on similar projects in other locations.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Track and manage risks throughout the contract lifecycle, developing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Site File with completed Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards on-site, including full PPE for all personnel.
  • Collaborate with safety support to meet all safety, health, environmental, and quality compliance.
  • Understand tender submission documents and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Meet project milestones and deadlines, maintaining cash flow through timely claims.
  • Lead the project team, setting weekly agendas and individual targets.
  • Assign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to each role, conduct appraisals, and manage HR issues.
  • Schedule efficient and measurable meetings.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies.
  • Report progress to the Operations Director and Senior Management Team, providing action lists for KPIs.
  • Challenge processes and decisions to improve service.
  • Manage the overall commercial performance of the project.
  • Ensure efficient operation of processes and staff.
  • Manage resource planning and oversee project onboarding.
  • Lead client interactions and presentations.
  • Ensure construction drawings are current and coordinate with subcontractors.
  • Attend performance and safety meetings as required.
  • Manage job within time and budget constraints.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Busbar Installation Experience
  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably within data centre projects.
  • Strong risk management and strategic planning abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in safety, health, environmental, and quality compliance.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in managing project finances.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of technical submissions and construction drawings.
