An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Liability Adjuster to join a leading specialist loss adjusting firm. The successful candidate to handle a diverse portfolio of liability claims, including employers’ liability (EL), public liability (PL), and product liability claims. You will be responsible for investigating, assessing, and negotiating complex claims, ensuring efficient and fair resolution for all parties involved. Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a portfolio of liability claims from instruction to settlement
  • Conduct thorough on-site investigations and interviews to establish liability and quantum
  • Assess policy coverage and advise clients accordingly
  • Compile detailed and accurate reports for insurers, providing clear recommendations
  • Negotiate settlements and liaise with solicitors, brokers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior adjusters
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards throughout the claims process
  • Maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service delivery

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Liability Adjuster, with a strong track record in handling EL, PL, and product liability claims
  • ACII, CILA, or other relevant professional qualifications (or working towards)
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload effectively
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to claims resolution
  • Proficiency in claims management systems and report writing
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally as required
