Your new company is a dynamic and growing organisation that values its employees and strives to create a positive and inclusive work environment. They are currently seeking a General Operative - Switchboard / Control Panel Builder to join their team and contribute to their culture of excellence.

Your new role as a full-time switchboard / control panel builder will involve the assembly of electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment/systems. You will be responsible for meeting specific engineering drawings and working to production timescales. Your role will require a high level of mechanical aptitude and dexterity, ensuring quality standards are maintained both in the factory and at customer premises.

What you'll need to succeed is a flexible approach to work, a willingness to learn, and the ability to be part of a team. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided, but prior experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as proficiency with hand tools, is beneficial. Proficiency in basic written and spoken English, a strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail are essential.
