Operations Executive - Support, Solve, and Streamline in a Busy, Essential Role!

Location: Corby, NorthamptonshireHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (including bank holidays, except Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day)

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for organisation and a keen eye for detail? Our client is seeking an Operations Executive who can take charge of essential daily administrative and operational tasks, ensuring the business operates seamlessly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can think on their feet, and is ready to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Be DoingAs an essential part of the team, your responsibilities will include:

Stock Management:

  • Overseeing stock levels and seasonal promotions to ensure seamless operations
  • Processing food and office supply orders, and logging stock updates via Sharepoint
  • Collaborating with the Customer Care Team to manage promotions or adjust stock as needed

SAP Operations:

  • Managing the Midlands inbox, processing orders, handling reconciliations, and putting on web orders
  • Processing refunds and substitutions, routing driver sheets, and managing end-of-day tasks

Driver & Van Coordination:

  • Ensuring vehicles are road-ready with up-to-date MOTs, servicing, and repairs
  • Equipping drivers with necessary resources and coordinating holiday cover for timesheets

Accounts and Compliance:

  • Uploading invoices, handling card settlements, and managing daily accounts tasks
  • Overseeing health and safety compliance using our client’s systems

Phone Support:

  • Handling overflow calls and assisting with holiday cover to provide a seamless customer experience

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Strong organisational skills and proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office (plus SAP ideally)
  • Background in telephone-based customer service
