Job Overview

Macildowie is working with a client based in Corby, Northamptonshire, to recruit a Finance & Payroll Assistant. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary range of £28,000 to £34,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Payroll and Senior Accounting Technician in delivering accurate and timely weekly payroll.
  • Accurately record and report payroll data.
  • Manage Accounts Payable effectively.
  • Resolve payroll and accounting queries.
  • Support and process statutory reports.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • AAT qualification (preferred) or part/full degree educated (advantageous).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or other data analytic software packages.
  • Ability to multitask with excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Approachable, calm, and professional manner.
