Class 1 Driver

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for skilled Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Corby and help us deliver excellence on every journey. Working with our customer, Matalan, you’ll be working a minimum of 48 hours per week, on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern. Our site operates 24/7 therefore we have a variety of start times available, to be discussed at the time of your application.

As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll receive:

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver to Matalan stores on a multi-drop basis
• Assist in the loading and unloading of cages and pallets
• Collect empty cages and pallets are return them back to site

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
