HGV Class 1 day driver (Corby)
Sure Staffing UK Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced temporary ongoing Class 1 Day Drivers for our prestigious clients based in Corby with immediate starts for day Shift.
You will be responsible for collecting/delivering products around the UK. You will be required to load and safely secure the products you will be hauling. You are required to have at least some experience driving class 1 vehicles. All Paperwork will need completing fully by yourself and handing into the customer and/or dispatch office. You will be representing the company, so a degree of professionalism is always required.
Class 1 Day Drivers you will need to have:
- Full Class 1 Driving License
- A maximum of no more than 6 points on your license
- Up to date CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- No DD, DR points on your license
- Previous experience would be advantageous
Details for Class 1 Day Drivers:
- Monday to Friday Days 19.50
- Saturday & Sunday Days 25
- Various Start times from 3-8am
Role outline for Class 1 Day Drivers:
- You will be working a a planned week, and will be discussed and confirmed the week before
- This is a great ongoing position with a company that looks after its workers
- Complete pre departure vehicle checks
- Transport goods between planned sites and drops
- Complete paperwork and follow compliance
- Adhere to tachograph and working times rules
