The Role...
We have an exciting and brand-new opportunity for a Civil Engineering Manager to join us, as we embark on the AMP8 five-year investment cycle with Anglian Water.

This is a unique chance to be involved in one of the UK's largest main-laying programmes.

As the Main Laying Engineering Manager, you will oversee the regional engineering team delivering main laying schemes, focusing on trenchless and no-dig techniques.

You will be championing innovative solutions to reduce work scope, maximise benefits, and ensure safe, on-time and within budget project delivery in line with Anglian Water's AMP8 targets.

In addition to the above you'll be collaborating with key stakeholders to manage, mentor, and develop your team, ensuring high performance and delivery standards.

Your efforts will enhance water quality, operational efficiency, and customer service, while prioritising safety and well-being.

We would love to hear from you, if you can demonstrate…

Proven experience in civil engineering specifically in pipeline, utilities or infrastructure projects.

Advanced knowledge of engineering design, network operations, and capital project delivery.

Leadership skills with extensive experience of managing and developing high-performing teams.

A detailed understanding of health and safety protocols, risk management and CDM.

A relevant engineering qualification.
