Production Manager

Corby - Commutable from Leicester, Peterborough, Northampton, and surrounding areas

This well-established company are currently going through a period of substantial growth specialising in the production mechanical products for industries such as Construction, Manufacturing, and many more. Due to the securing of new contracts, the company is looking to add a Workshop Manager to the team to support with recent growth.

In this role you will oversee a team of Fabricators, Welders and Production Supervisor. After receiving the engineering drawings/plans, you will organize the tasks of the team to ensure standards and deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for the health & safety of the team.

The ideal candidate with experience in the steel, fabrications, sheet metal or welding industry. You will also have experience maintaining health & safety standards and have experience with Microsoft Excel.

The Role
*Managing a team of fabricators/welders
*Plan the fabricating schedule to meet deadlines upon receiving engineering drawings & requirements
*Organize the workload of the team
*Maintain health & safety standards

The Person
*Manufacturing Team Leader/ Workshop Manager/Production Manager/ Engineering Supervisor or similar background
*Will ideally come from the steel or sheet metal or fabrication or welding industry, though similar industries will be considered
*Ability to read engineering drawings
*Experience with Microsoft Excel
