A primary school based in Corby has an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant.

The Role:

As a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with behavioural and emotional challenges to help them engage in learning.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage self-regulation, resilience, and social skills development.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEN needs in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Team Teach, Behaviour Management Training) - desirable but not essential.
