Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant Wanted!

A primary school based in Corby has an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with behavioural and emotional challenges to help them engage in learning.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage self-regulation, resilience, and social skills development.
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEN needs in a school setting.
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Team Teach, Behaviour Management Training) - desirable but not essential.
