Technical Assistant
£25,000, Corby, Monday to Friday Core Hours 8:00am-5:00pm, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Xmas Party, Xmas Shutdown, Pension, Canteen, Parking, Training and development available, Annual Bonus Scheme

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Technical Lead to assist in design and engineering tasks
- Use AutoCAD 2D and 3D for creating and modifying technical drawings
- Provide hands-on support in maintaining and assembling equipment or prototypes
- Communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide updates on projects
- Respond to customer inquiries and offer technical assistance in a professional manner
- Ensure technical designs and project deliverables are completed on time
- Maintain records of customer interactions, solutions provided, and any follow-up actions required
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of engineering principles
- Knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD 2D and 3D would be advantagous
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work well in a hands-on environment and assist with practical tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the technical demands of the role
Location: Corby
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Duration: Permanent
