Are you an experienced Production Operative looking for the next step in your career?

Impact Recruitment are looking for a Production Machine Setter, on our client's behalf, to join their business and to ensure continued growth in a production environment. This is a great opportunity to embark on a new challenge for a global company, in their Corby site.

You will be on a 4-day working week! Ideal for those who prefer to put the hard hours in and enjoy the long weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining converting machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications.

Monday - Thursday, Fixed (Apply online only) or Fixed (Apply online only)

The role:

  • Operate converting machinery to produce products in line with quality standards.
  • Keep accurate records of production activities such as machine settings and product counts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support where needed.
  • Working in a fast-paced production environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Set up and adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature and pressure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions and take corrective action as needed.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in operating converting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and troubleshoot machinery issues.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
