Your Role
As Night Shift Lead Engineer, you will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring smooth operations across the shift.
  • Take ownership of reactive and planned maintenance, minimising downtime, and drive a continuous improvement culture.
  • This role would be supporting on the tools as well as some back office tasks and a handover.


What You Need

  • Proven experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a highly automated environment.
  • Strong leadership skills - experience managing or mentoring engineers.
  • Electrical & mechanical expertise (multi-skilled preferred).
  • Experience with PLCs, conveyors, robotics, and automation (desirable).
  • Engineering qualifications (HNC/HND, apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent).
