QHSE Manager

Due to continued success, a UK head office of a global manufacturing organisation has an exciting opportunity for a QHSE Manager to join them. You will provide QHSE support daily to the site, reporting into directors:

  • Ensuring the whole site (including Production and Commercial), as well as field teams are QHSE compliant, by taking ownership of the QHSE Management system
  • Working with colleagues including departmental managers, and educating them on QHSE policies and procedures, ensuring all regulations are understood by all, having a visual presence through out the site to be able to assist and support with any questions or queries in relation to QHSE
  • Preparing the site, and leading all external audits, as well conducting regular internal auditor to ensure ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards are being adhered too
  • Updating, writing and distributing all policies, procedures and risk assessments when required. All administration duties related to the role, ensuring full trace-ability
  • Investigating and QHSE instances as and when they happen alongside HR, prov-actively working on prevention plan afterwards
  • Working with sales team and prepare QHSE documentation for tender process

We would expect the successful QHSE Manager to be able to demonstrate a good ownership skills, and the ability to guild and educate others of all levels promoting the importance of QHSE. Previous experience of the implementation of IMS system would be advantageous. Working knowledge of the above ISO standards are essential. Have a logical mindset, and enjoy problem solving, as well as having a friendly, approachable manner. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the companies products. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within H&S Manager, HSQE Manager or Quality Manager position.
