Transport Planner - Romanian Speaking

Rise Recruitment Solutions are activelyrecruiting a DayTransport Planner / Operatorto join our team to work with one of our clients based in Corby, Northamptonshire. The Transport Planner will report to the Transport Manager and work closely with the Transport team to plan, direct and control the activities of the transport fleet including sub-contractors to optimise cost-effectiveness and use of resources. The Transport Planner must provide a high-quality service to both internal and external customers.

Whats on Offer

• Salary: 30,000 to 40,000 per annum depending on experience
• Location:Corby, Northamptonshire
• Schedule:4 on 4 off - 06:00 to 18:00
• WorkEnvironment: Office based

About the Role

• Utilise Operating Systems:Utilisation of our operating systems to enhance efficiency.
• Oversee Night Trunking Operations:Manage night operations to handle required volumes effectively.
• Address Service Delivery Concerns:Collaborate with management and the transport team to identify and rectify any service delivery issues.
• Meet Customer Requirements:Understand and adhere to customer operational needs, striving to exceed expectations.
• Promote Effective Communication:Maintain consistent and efficient communication with management and the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage Transport Documentation:Ensure all transport documents are accurately managed, stored, and compliant with legal requirements.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Service:Assist in maintaining a road-worthy fleet through effective control of vehicle maintenance and service needs.
• Address Driver Fleet Concerns:Proactively understand and address any operational concerns within the driver fleet.
• Understand Operating Licence Obligations:Be aware of and adhere to the Operating Licence obligations.
• Perform Additional Duties:Undertake any other tasks as required by management to ensure departmental efficiency.

Personal Specification

• Relevant Experience:Experience in a similar role within the Transport and Amazon network industry.
• Understanding of Romanian as a second or first language is ideal.
• Decision-Making Ability:Capable of making flexible, innovative decisions to ensure service excellence.
• Process-Driven and Detail-Oriented:A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working methodically with excellent attention to detail.
