Senior Industrial Door Engineer
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire (Midlands travel required)
Salary: 35K - 40K

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Door Engineer to oversee and carry out the maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial doors, dock levellers, and access barriers. Reporting to the Works Manager, youll supervise and support a team of engineers, liaise directly with clients, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial doors and dock systems
  • Provide guidance and supervision to engineering staff and monitor performance
  • Travel to various sites across Northamptonshire and the Midlands, occasionally beyond
  • Collaborate with clients on-site, addressing service needs and ensuring satisfaction
  • Handle administration tasks related to service calls and maintenance activities

Additional Duties

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures
  • Complete required training, skills assessments, and performance reports
  • Assist with project management and implementation of company-wide technical standards

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in industrial door or loading bay systems, including administration tasks related to service calls
  • Mechanical or electrical qualifications; IPAF license preferred
  • Full UK driving license; strong time management and self-motivation
  • Leadership skills with a team-oriented approach and a commitment to safety
