Injection Mould Setter

£30 - £35k per annum

Monday - Friday - 3 shift rotating

Agenda Partnership are supporting a client based in Corby who is currently looking for an Injection Mould Setter to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

This role will be based in their production facility in Corby and will be working on a rotating shift pattern of Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am.

Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Production processes, ensuring machines are set and optimised considering the target specifications (cycle, shot weight, dimensions, quality specifications, QS report)
  • Adjusting the injection process according to procedures (moulding compound assessment, determining switching point, filling study, sealing point, adjusting paths, adjusting times, adjusting speeds, adjusting pressures, adjusting temperatures, optimal energy, start-up programs, monitoring systems
  • Checking the TARGET specifications using the database in ERP, BDE and the QA check using a hand scanner
  • Execute tool change
  • Supervise production, train apprentices
  • Identifying and eliminate areas in production that need improvement
  • Report any production failures to the production manager
  • Monitoring order and cleanliness in the injection moulding department

Skills and experience

  • Prior experience working within injection moulding
  • Can work unsupervised and confident in supervising machine operatives
  • Can work the rotating shift pattern
