Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Electrical Craft Team Member, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across the plant. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Performing planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Troubleshooting relay control circuits, AC/DC motors, and various types of drives.

  • Conducting basic PLC fault finding on Siemens S7 300, 1200, and 1500 systems.

  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and working with computerized maintenance management systems (MMS).

  • Contributing to plant reliability and efficiency by identifying and implementing improvement projects.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this role, you should have:

? A Level 3 qualification (BTEC, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3) in Electrical Engineering or be apprentice-trained.? Experience working with low voltage systems, drives, and PLCs in a heavy industrial environment.? Strong electrical fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.? A team-player mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled team.? Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern (days, lates, and nights, Monday to Friday).

Bonus skills: Holding an 18th Edition qualification or basic mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
