Job Title: Warehouse ManagerLocation: Corby, United KingdomWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSalary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse operations in Corby. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products, as well as the supervision of a team of warehouse personnel.Key Responsibilities:Warehouse Operations: Manage all warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products, to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.Inventory Control: Implement and maintain inventory control processes to monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and minimise discrepancies.Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by implementing health and safety protocols and adhering to company policies and procedures.Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain the quality standards of our products, ensuring accurate picking and packing.Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and storage systems, to guarantee efficient and safe operation.Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate reports on inventory, operational efficiency, and other relevant metrics to support decision-making.Cost Control: Manage the warehouse budget effectively and seek opportunities for cost-saving measures.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce waste.Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.Proficiency in using warehouse management software and MS Office applications.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Forklift certification is a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience (£35,000 - £42,000 per annum).Monday to Friday work schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).Opportunity to work with a well-established and growing company.Health and safety-focused working environment.Room for professional growth and development
