Warehouse PlannerCorbyShifts - 4 on/4 off 12 hours day shiftSalary - up to £32kOur client, a leading global logistics company based in Corby, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating all logistical activities to ensure smooth execution of client orders. As a key player in the operation, you will oversee the planning system, manage the logistics archive, and ensure efficient workflow for the warehouse team.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule orders using the warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Planner to ensure smooth order processing
  • Co-ordinate with clients, hauliers, and warehouse staff to maintain efficient operations
  • Issue instructions to forklift truck drivers and pickers
  • Monitor schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet targets
  • Resolve issues and anomalies in collaboration with the site manager
  • Process administrative data related to logistical activities
  • Manage and oversee logistics employees
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Stay informed on industry developments
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
  • Share knowledge and best practices with other company sites
  • Continuously work on personal development and performance
Requirements:
  • Basic numeracy and English language skills
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and planning tools
  • Experience using various computer systems and software
  • Ability to work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (days)
