Warehouse PlannerCorbyShifts - 4 on/4 off 12 hours day shiftSalary - up to £32kOur client, a leading global logistics company based in Corby, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating all logistical activities to ensure smooth execution of client orders. As a key player in the operation, you will oversee the planning system, manage the logistics archive, and ensure efficient workflow for the warehouse team.Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule orders using the warehouse management system (WMS)
Collaborate with the Assistant Planner to ensure smooth order processing
Co-ordinate with clients, hauliers, and warehouse staff to maintain efficient operations
Issue instructions to forklift truck drivers and pickers
Monitor schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet targets
Resolve issues and anomalies in collaboration with the site manager
Process administrative data related to logistical activities
Manage and oversee logistics employees

Additional Responsibilities:

Stay informed on industry developments
Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
Share knowledge and best practices with other company sites
Continuously work on personal development and performance

Requirements:

Basic numeracy and English language skills
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and planning tools
Experience using various computer systems and software
Ability to work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (days)
