We are supporting a logistics company with an automated warehouse in Corby with the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer with a background in reactive, PPM, and breakdown maintenance of cranes, and conveyors including working at heights of up to 120ft, and in cold conditions to ensure peak operational efficiency of the machinery and equipment.
Hours:4 days on 4 days off nights, or 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate a range of critical systems, including conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, and oxygen reduction systems, in accordance with supplier guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs to minimise operational disruptions.
- Work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Follow structured maintenance plans to ensure minimal operational impact while maintaining compliance with supplier guidelines.
- Arrange service visits and maintenance as per business needs, ensuring all warranties remain valid.
- Assist warehouse operators in maintaining a smooth and efficient logistics workflow.
- Monitor, manage, and order spare parts as needed while adhering to company policy and budgetary constraints.
- Provide clear and timely reports to the Engineering Manager, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Continuously seek and implement energy-saving initiatives to improve sustainability and cost-efficiency.
Qualifications and requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Multi-Skilled Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Apprentice-trained background in engineering.
- Experience in an FMCG automated warehouse environment.
- Cold store & ammonia plant experience (desirable).
- Experience working at heights (desirable).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (desirable).
