Maintenance Engineer - Nights

An outstanding opportunity is now available for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, to join the Maintenance department, within a well-established manufacturing facility in Corby. A highly competitive package is available.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintenance of plant and equipment
Identifying, diagnosing and fixing faults and breakdowns
Carrying out of planned Preventative Maintenance
Facilitating and executing continuous improvement activities
Liaising with Engineering Manager to plan corrective actions
Prioritising and managing workload to ensure minimum impact on production efficiency
Completion of paperwork
Supporting all manufacturing facilities as required
Overtime is available at an enhanced rate

What skills will you need?

The right person will be highly motivated, flexible, reliable and experienced, with a focus on continuous improvement.

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent
Experience/further education in engineering
Experience of PLC systems for fault finding and minor programming modifications
Experience using and installing Variable Speed Drives VSD's
Excellent communication skills, and able to balance conflicting demands
Must be fluent in English at a Technical level
Excellent time management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Computer literate
Basic Health and Safety and Basic Food Hygiene Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of delivering CI activities
Knowledge of up-to-date maintenance techniques and policies
Knowledge of Manufacturing Maintenance in the FMCG food industry (desirable)

The successful candidate will work on a permanent night shift, from Sunday to Thursday, 22:00-06:00.
