Assistant Construction Manager
This Assistant Construction Manager role is a great opportunity to make an impression with a reputable firm.
You will be shadowing an experienced Project Manager and learning the processes within the company to help build the project. The project is a large 38m cut and carve scheme based in Central London. Your scope of works will include assisting with the enabling works including demolition and earthworks.
Responsibilities for Assistant Construction Manager
- Coordinate and oversee aspects of the project from demolition to completion.
- Manage on-site personnel and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
Requirements for Assistant Construction Manager
- SSSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Relevant experience
The firm hiring are a highly reputable outfit with a large order book for 2024/25. They are a main contractor who work nationwide but HQ is in London.
